A damn great glass of wine for every guest

Majek wine pouring into a glass.

We are in the hospitality business, providing a delicious glass of wine and a place of beauty and enjoyment for our guests.  To deliver this experience, Majek Vineyard & Winery is a vertical operation of agriculture, manufacturing, wholesale distribution, and retail, led by Lynne Majek.

Our team members are passionate entrepreneurs who deliver on our promise of providing "a damn great glass of wine for every guest, no matter who they are or from where they traveled".

CEO - Lynne Majek

With previous careers in Retail and Corporate Marketing, Lynne had many of the skills needed to start her own business.  After completing a 2 year certificate in Viticulture from Texas Tech, she began Majek Vineyard & Winery in 2014 as a place she would like to visit, where guests can relax and get away from the troubles of the real world.

CFO - Randy Majek

A well-respected Texas banking executive for over 30 years, Randy is superbly equipped to serve as COO of the Majek companies.  In addition to his financial duties, Randy is the lead for Majek Wholesale and will also be found in the middle of any project...viticulturist, cellar rat, landscape designer, booking agent...and as the supportive "wind beneath the wings" of his very thankful spouse.

Winemaker Tim Drake is sitting somewhere on the grape farm.

Winemaker - Tim Drake

Before moving to Texas in 2010, Tim spent 10 years making wine in Washington state. Working with large facilities such as Chateau Ste. Michelle and Columbia Crest, as well as multiple high-end boutique wineries, provided him with a successful career and a true love of the grape. But it was the move to Texas that ignited a new found passion for winemaking.
He spent the next 8 years working with multiple well-known wineries across the state of Texas. In 2018, when he announced the decision to move to full-time consulting, the Majek's were the first to get in touch. The rest is Wine Family history.
Now, with over two decades of dedication to his craft while working in various regions, his philosophy continues to evolve.

"Texas Wine is such an awesome place to be. The flavors and styles that we produce here can directly compete with some of the best in the world. With the distinctly unique regions and the variability of the weather from year to year, my goal is to really let each wine be a reflection of its place in the vintage. It's my desire to help Majek Vineyard & Winery be at the forefront of this movement."
